Big things a gwaan at More Fire in October as Chant Down play host to special guests Future Soundz (WA). Recent years have seen Future Soundz establish themselves as one of the most exciting dancehall reggae sound crews in Australia, with a dubplate box to be feared. As well as holding down multiple residencies in Perth and Fremantle, Future Soundz are the only Australian sound to have played at Jamaica’s legendary “Fully Loaded” dance, where selector DJ Rasta proved himself to be a crowd favourite two years running. Fresh from their fourth trip to Jamaica, Future Soundz will be coming to Melbourne with a big bag of brand new dubplate specials ready to blaze up More Fire alongside Chant Down residents Jesse I and Ras Crucial – plus support from Gaza (Get Madd) and Solomon, and giveaways of the new roots and dub mix CD “Mind The Dub v.2” courtesy of Xelon Entertainment.

More Fire # 139 takes place on Saturday 13th October at Deep 11 (Mercat Cross Hotel basement, 456 Queen St, City). Doors open at 10pm, with a cover of $10 or $8 for concession holders, and PBS FM members.
