Big tings a gwaan on October 8, as Chant Down residents Jesse I and Ras Crucial are joined by Sydney’s Louis Basslines – fresh from a year in NYC taking in the city’s dancehall scene and working with the likes of Federation Sound and Mr Lexx. Other guests on the night include veteran selector Andy Ites, the ever-stalwart Comrade Dubs, and Costa Rican MC Birok Huete live on the mic. More Fire # 128 takes place on Saturday 8th October at Deep 11 (Mercat Cross Hotel basement, 456 Queen St, City). Doors open at 10pm, with a cover of $10 or $8 for concession holders, and PBS FM members.
