Mad Professor – Live In Byron Bay

Date04/12/2016

Starts8:30 pm

Ends11:59 pm

The 4’20 Sound & Fibra Entertainment are proud to announce the arrival of the allmighty dub pioneer MAD PROFESSOR to the Monday reggae session in Byron Bay.

Mad Professor (Neil Joseph Stephen Fraser) is a Guyanese dub music producer and engineer known for his original productions and remix work. He is considered one of the leading producers of dub music’s second generation and was instrumental in transitioning dub into the digital age. He has collaborated with reggae artists such as Lee “Scratch” Perry, Sly and Robbie, Pato Banton, Jah Shaka and Horace Andy, as well as artists outside the realm of traditional reggae and dub, such as Sade, Massive Attack, The Orb, and Brazilian DJ Marcelinho da lua.

Mad Professor is gonna touch base in Byron Bay on the 5th of December as part of his Australia tour. Not for the first time, the legendary dub architect will visit the shire and those who managed to catch up with his show have witnessed that his performance is more than just a music showcase, its the science of music production live and direct that will penetrate deeper than your eardrums and reach to the soul.

Get ready for the ultimate dub experience to start the summer.
December 5th at The Beach Hotel Byron Bay – 8.30pm start $10 entry.
