Date27/06/2025

VenueSunny Coast Rude Boys

Thurs 26 June 8pm – The Horn, St.Albans, Herts, UK
Block 33 (UK) & Sunny Coast Rude Boys (Australia)!

Headline – Block 33 are straight off the back of ‘The Promised Land’ UK tour, the tour of their third album which hit #24 in the Official UK Album Charts & #1 in the Official Independent UK Album Charts. Block 33 are a blend of primarily late 70’s mod revival, 90’s Britpop & 00’s Indie showcasing roaring guitars, rolling bass & quintessentially British, rasping yet melodic vocals. Their live performances are full of energy, electricity, clearly impromptu on stage rapport & sing a long songs that fans blow the roof off singing along to.

Support – Sunny Coast Rude Boys (QLD, Australia)
Sunny Coast Rude Boys are a 10-piece wall of sound hailing from Australia’s Sunshine Coast beaches. The band has established itself as one of Australia’s top ska acts, attracting the attention of a diverse and growing international fanbase. Their unique signature sound is a pop-tinged, surf-sprayed distillation of unexpected ska arrangements and seductive harmonies, invigorated by punchy horns and thumping drums. With a slew of new original tracks drawing on the original 2Tone sound, Sunny Coast Rude Boys are a sure-fire, supercharged party band!

This is a homecoming gig for powerhouse frontman & singer Mick Hughes – a St.Albans lad originally, who after 20 years in Australia is leading this band of top-class Australian musicians on their debut tour of the UK!
