Back in session for the first time since Meanjin Reggae Festival 2023, Champion Sound presents.. Yard Vibes!

A celebration of Jamaican sound system culture featuring the original roots man Jessie Proverbs pon the mic, all the way from Montego Bay via South Australia! Experience Brisbane’s original purpose built heavy weight sound system, Champion Sound. Complete with brand new pre-amp and recently upgraded bass drivers. Our selecta’s have been digging deep to bring you the finest Reggae and bass music tunes from around the world! Roots, dancehall, steppers, dubwise, 140 and jungle will be the flavour of the night.

Adding flavor to the Yard Vibes session is the Bando Smoke Jerk BBQ. Licensed bar on site run by the Jagera Hall Community with all proceed going to fund important community works.

This is a Champion Sound Ltd. fundraiser event to help us continue to grow Meanjin Reggae Festival.. all tickets are tax deductible donations! We aim to bring you the best year yet in 2024 with more sound systems, interstate and international acts! Stay tuned for more announcements coming soon..
