Matty Woods is one of the emerging “true” voices of Australian reggae. His illuminating stage presence brings a message of empowerment and unity. Matty is a progressive artist/producer with a distinct relevance to contemporary Australia. The multi-instrumentalist has been making waves within the Australian reggae scene releasing ‘The Ras Gong Guerrilla EP’ and has had a number of high-profile shows.

Matty’s debut release ‘The Ras Gong Guerrilla EP’ covers many heated and political forums such as Indigenous sovereignty, transitional lifestyles, climate change, national identity, and corruption at all levels of business and government. The smooth roots reggae grooves pounding so strongly out of the recesses of deep bass are alluring and an island vibes riddim you can chant an stomp your feet to all day!
