Reggae Dancehall icon DJ Ragz launches Australia’s first music chart dedicated to Dancehall Reggae with rising news media hub Dancehall Reggae Australia.
It’s been a long time coming Australia… and now, it’s officially here. Australia’s first and only groundbreaking, interactive Music Chart specifically designed for Reggae Dancehall from Australian sources, born from and managed by Australia’s leading Reggae Dancehall music industry go-to man… DJ Ragz, affectionately known as Ragz.
Ragz is known across Australia as one of the leading consultants for Reggae Dancehall industry business and events in Australia. With 20 years under his belt having worked in both the UK and Australia with the likes of Ludacris, Usher, Sean Paul, Tarrus Riley, Demarco and Cecile and having played at events such as Womadelaide, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Adelaide Casino, the Jamaican Music and Food Festival, Dub In The Park, Tour Down Under, Diner En France and many others, the versatile DJ, MC, Tour Consultant, Promoter and founder of Black Diamond Sound, Radio Show Producer & Presenter for both the Dancehall and Ting Radio Show on Fresh 92.7Fm and Caribbean Connection on 5EBI 103.1Fm, MC and Youth Worker via his Urban Movement Entertainment Youth Programs, Tour DJ for Melbourne based Artist King Ru, and Chairperson of CARIBSA (Caribbean Assoc. of South Australia) has well and truely made his mark in the industry here in Australia.
With so much experience behind him, he’s now collaborated with Dancehall Reggae Australia and launched Australia’s first music chart dedicated to Dancehall Reggae music compiled from Australian data – called The Australian Top 25 Dancehall Reggae Chart.
