What has JOE TEE not done……he literally pioneered Reggae music in Brisbane. so come help us give tribute to this great perfomer, DJ, promoter and entertainer as he walks us down the memory lane of Reggae hits
JOE TEE initiated and promoted Club Mogambo based at the Bridge Club in Richmond, Melbourne. At this venue, he was responsible for the promotions and the management of the club, booking of performers and DJs and also organising sound and lighting equipment. Since relocating to Brisbane, he has been performing each weekend at Casablanca Niteclub in Caxton Street since 1993 till April 2012,with his band Afrodisa. he has also performed with Afrodisa at numerous venues, functions, festivals and Sunday markets in Brisbane, on the Gold Coast and surrounds, and overseas, and have supported international acts, David Lee Roth, Lucky Dube, UB40, & Shasha Marley here in Australia.

His repertoire of music includes African, Reggae, Calypso, Reggaeton, Latino, 70s, 80, 90s, Old School, Motown, modern Hip Hop, Dance, R & B, Rock & Roll and a vast range of World Music.He is a vibrant and energetic performer/DJ and is very responsive to the needs and desires of the audience, engaging them at all times.

Through his work in Queensland over the last 20 years, he has established a following and support of local and international fans. He has also worked with a large number of extremely talented performers.

BIG UP is a new concept trying, not only to get reggae dancehall music lovers together, but also trying to introduce the reggae culture in Brisbane. At BIG UP you come for the experience, culture, energy of reggae music which we guarantee will be provided by our world class selectors we have lined up for you.
