From humble beginnings back in 2006 when 5 friends put there heads together and decided to put on a Reggae dance that would have the vibe of a house party but portray Jamaican music at it’s best Fisherman Style has grown into one of the preeminent Reggae dances in the nation.

Started by Sheriff Lindo, Simmo T, Choppa Crucial, Tatty Reps and Drummie making up the first EARTHLINK Sound crew, Fisherman Style at Mojo’s Bar in North Fremantle has become somewhat of an institution in the WA Reggae scene. The first Friday of every month there is only one place to be for the finest in Reggae and Dancehall music. From Foundation tunes by the greats such as Dennis Brown, Bob Marley, Gregory Isaacs to the most up to the time Roots and Dancehall by Chronix, Taurus Riley, Vybz Kartel, Popcaan the night covers the widest spectrum of Jamaican music. The only thing required is for people to bring good vibes, good dancing shoes and a smile.

This month sees Fisherman Style celebrate 8 years strong with a killer line up to celebrate in the finest of styles. Featuring local crews and DJ’s KBI SOUND, DJ CORBY, FIRESIDE IMPERIAL, CHOPPA CRUCIAL, BUSHA D and RASTA FYAH this sure to be a great night and party.

Giveaways throughout the night and a free Mix CD to the first 150 people through the door.

Runnings start from 8pm so don’t be late as this one will be ram!!!!
