Get ready to rock steady, do the ska, and skank to the sounds of reggae from yesteryear, as Funky Kingston comes to nice up Bar 303 in Northcote! Vintage vinyl collectors and selectors Mohair Slim, Rick Howe and Jesse I will be dusting off their finest records and bringing the sounds of young Jamaica to Northcote for a night of drinking, dancing, and good vibes – plus Melbourne’s #1 rocksteady band The Moonhops performing live – and special guest Stryka D (Heartical Hi-Powa) making a long-awaited return to the turntables after more than a year up north. Stick Mareebo will be on the Mic, to nice it up.
