Jah Tung is one of Australia’s most exciting and versatile reggae artists and traces his ancestry back to the country's first reggae soundsystem, Soulmaker Sound.

Being of Anglo-Indian, very mixed heritage and hailing from Bankstown, Western Sydney an undeniably multi-cultural area, JT relocated in 2018 to Melbourne, Australia’s cultural and creative capital.

Gaining local and global success with accolades such as consecutive Music Victoria Awards nominations in 2019, 2020 and 2021 as well as collaborations with high profile international reggae artists, such as Dub FX, Gappy Ranks, Aza Lineage and more, the lyrical souljah returns to Sydney to take the scene by storm.

This fresh and diverse artist bridges gaps between the country’s reggae, hip hop and dancehall communities and beyond, highlighting the connections to the roots.

After quickly building momentum with consistent shows with band The Natural Order, the recent suffocation of the live music scene allowed Jah Tung to stay productive in the studio, working on many collaboration projects with various producers, as well as a self-produced, debut album to be released in the coming year, featuring all-star guests including Kabaka Pyramid, Bugle, Pressure Busspipe, Micah Shemaiah and more…
