KING RU is one of the most dynamic artists to emerge from the Melbourne reggae/dancehall/hip hop scene. Jamaican/Australian heritage (AustraJam) based in Melbourne, King Ru aka Ru.CL is an explosive entertainer with world wide appeal. He brings those sweet vibes everytime, mixing conscious lyrics with tuff beats.

V Don Dada is an Australian artist based in Melbourne, crossing borders with her lyrical abilities and melting pot of sounds. After recently spending time, living between New York and Melbourne, she was introduced into the world and the home of the some of the best rap the world has to offer. V Don Dada is here to make waves with her newest release ‘Redlight’ which is the perfect mix of reggae fusion and meaningful bars and the track will be featuring on her upcoming EP ‘I Am V’. She will be performing ‘Redlight’ at Melbourne’s home of Dancehall – I 💚 Dancehall.

Mexe is one of our favourites..Always leaves the crowd wanting more, mixing up current dancehall and Afrobeats for maximum dance floor fire.

SO FIRE
So Fire started out Djing on soundsystems in the UK and Europe. She has been running I love dancehall for 9 years, and more recently has worked on True Jamaican Dancehall tours with long time collaborator Mz Kitty Cat, bringing Jamaican dancehall dancers to Australia as well as launching the Official Australian Dancehall Queen and King competition.

JC KING
We’ll be welcoming JC KING for the first time at I Love Dancehall… DJ ‘JC King’ has been making his mark on the Melbourne music dance culture, recognized nationally and Internationally for his composure & finesse on the decks . His talents have granted him residencies at The Black Rabbit, Swagger Melbourne, and Laundry Bar. Typically you would catch him busting out a serious set of R&B and Hip-Hop but for us he’ll be mixing up all his dancehall favorites with a bit of an urban cross over feel.
