Combine majestic, sweeping beaches, unspoilt bushland, an amazing and inspiring Island community and a whole bunch of awesome musicians, artists, performers and more – and you have Island Vibe Festival.

From Australian reggae, soul and dub legends to international super stars, Island Vibe has been delivering the goods for nine years now.

Kicking off the lineup announcements for Island Vibe Festival 2014 is chart-topping soul phenomenon FINLAY QUAYE, direct from the UK. A winner of the MOBO Award for Best Reggae Act, Brit Award winner for Best Male Solo Artist, son of jazz musician Cab Quaye and godson of the legendary Duke Ellington, Finley reached the UK Top 20 twice, with the classic “Sunday Shining” and stunning follow up “Even After All”. His reputation was firmly established by the release of his now multi-platinum album Maverick A Strike [1997] which went gold less than three weeks after release, leading directly to the BRIT Award victory and work with Iggy Pop, Primal Scream and West Indian musical legend Lee Scratch Perry.

On the local front Island Vibe Festival is also proud to present Melbourne’s Afro-funk ensemble THE BLACK JESUS EXPERIENCE – delivering the power and beauty of Africa through the irresistible vocal prism of hip-hop, the freedom of funk and dripping in 21st century groove – as well as Sydney’s ARIA-nominated, reggae-star festival legends KING TIDE, who return to the Island Vibe Festival stage for the first time since 2012.

Here we have our final lineup – and it’s alphabetical – coz we like it like that 😉
