Soundclash is one of Jamaica’s most popular sources of entertainment.
We will be bringing you right into the art of a clash.

WHEEL UP AND COME AGAIN MY SELECTA: Two big bad sounds inna one lawn, the boom sound will keep on playing while the other sound will keep calm.
As one wise man said, no two sounds were created equally. On this night one sound will have to turn off and listen to a better sound play.
About Future Soundz:
Future Soundz started in 2007 when, Australian-born selector, Dj Rasta teamed up with Zimbabwean djs, Dj Dre & Dj Legalize while playing Hip Hop & R’n’B at a popular student night at Murdoch University.
The sound quickly turned their attention back to their musical roots in Reggae & Dancehall. Things progressed at a rapid pace, with the sound playing major Reggae gigs around Perth, including the infamous Fisherman’s Style.
On the 15th May 2009, Future Soundz entered the first Soundclash in WA in years, against Ras Movement sound & was victorious, leading to entry in the Royal Rumble. The Royal Rumble included some of the biggest soundz in Perth including the oldest sound in WA, Jah Wisdom. Classified as the battle for the number one sound in Perth, Future Soundz took out the crown & with it the title.
Not content with the Perth scene, Dj Rasta traveled to Jamaica to play the infamous Fully Loaded. Fully Loaded, run by Bounty Killer & Industry Heavyweight Sharon Burke was known where hardcore soundz battled & the likes of Fire Linx & Tony Matterhorn, buss their solo careers. Sharing the stage with big names such as Mavado, Bounty & Aidonia, Future Soundz represented Australia hard, where the invite back to one of Jamaica’s Premier Festivals was a given. So in 2012, Future Soundz returned and was according to the Jamaican Star, one of the highlights of the show. A massive achievement given the likes of Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, Sky Juice, Bass Odyssey & Black Kat also gracing the stage.
In 2018 Future Soundz, Flew to Melbourne to participate in the 1st National Sound Clash, The Island Records IPA Soundclash. 7 sounds from around Australia & New Zealand took part in the clash, with Future Soundz making it to the Dub Fi Dub, only to just lose to Melbourne Reggae Pioneers, Chant Down Sound.
