Supporting King Tide on the night is local act Trouble in Paradise.
Hailing from NSW’s Central Coast, Trouble In Paradise endeavor to push boundaries of expectation for 3 piece rock bands. Drawing sounds from both reverb-soaked surf riffs, and heavily distorted punk music yet landing somewhere perfectly in between, the band create an energetic and authentic live experience. Coming off the back of a successful debut EP release – “Strange Noises”, Trouble In Paradise are out to get their powerful and dynamic live set on the road and carry the alt-rock torch forward.
Their sound is influenced by bands such as The Hives, Violent Soho, Dick Dale and his Del tones, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Queens of the Stone Age, Sex Bob-omb and The Black Lips.
They’ve recently released their first single “Holding Out”. It’s currently up on bandcamp for free download, as well as soundcloud and triple J Unearthed.
