It has been a hectic time at the Kooyeh mansion, where we have been booking gigs like crazy for July in Melbourne! Check out the dates and hopefully, we will see your beautiful, smiling faces there for nights jam packed full of jazzy R&B, folky soul & rootsical reggae grooves. We have put together a package that showcases Melbourne’s latest musical imports from the picturesque hillsides of New South Wales’ Blue Mountains.

Our revue kicks off with Jace Excell, who has worked with some of Australias biggest names in hip hop… You might know him from the Thundamentals single, “How You Been” which has recieved heavy radio play on stations such as JJJ. Next on the bill is Natalie Tomlins, an enigmatic singer-songwriter who has a vibe comparable to sitting down in front of an open fire with a cup of hot chocolate or a nice glass of red. Both Natalie & Jace are backed by The Echo Point Mystics (a 6 piece soul ensemble with a line-up remarkably similar to the main act…). The final ingredient in our “mountain soul stew” is Kooyeh, a Reggae/Dub band who lay down heavyweight yet uplifting riddims of epic proportions. These three course musical meals are seasoned with DJ sets from Papa Richie, who is notorious for saturating Katoomba with his vintage reggae, dub & soul stylings.
