Lamine Sonko and The African Intelligence and iconic Sudanese singer Ajak Kwai will be hitting Australian stages with their co-headline ‘Afro Frequency’ tour. Two of Australia’s most celebrated African artists, they’ll be taking audiences on a journey from the raw sounds of sandy Saharan empires to the explosive rhythms of afro-beat, jazz and funk.

The show explores powerful messages of transcending borders and social equality, presenting music from their new albums ‘Afro Empire’ winner of The Age Music Vic Awards Best Global/Reggae Album and ‘Of Cows, Women and War. It’s a fiery mix of uplifting and soulful sounds delivered with sweet harmonies, vibrant melodies, and with a few twists.
