In October last year, Jesse I and Ras Crucial celebrated 10 years of playing together as Chant Down Sound. This April, they celebrate 10 years of Chant Down’s monthly reggae dance “More Fire” – the longest running reggae party in the country. Get ready for blazing sounds from the extended More Fire family – Damajah, Troublemaker, Sista Itations, Andy Ites, Housewife’s Choice, Night Nurse, Armagideon Time, and Ranking Yoni – plus dancing crew Burn City Queenz, nuff guest MCs, party treats and other surprises. Celebrating ten years of straight reggae and dancehall in one inity – more fire!!

More Fire 10th Birthday Bashment takes place on Saturday 9th April at Deep 11 (Mercat Cross Hotel basement, 456 Queen St, city). Doors open at 10pm, with a cover of $10 or $8 for concession holders and PBS members.
