It’s another international link-up at More Fire in January, as Chant Down play host to Selecta Jannali of Switzerland’s Little Lion Sound. Little Lion have been running things in Geneva since 2004, where they keep regular dances, host a radio show, and have built their own soundsystem and recording studio. They have toured all over Europe with artists such as Wayne Smith, Ranking Joe and Echo Minott, and now they’ll be bringing their dubplate box to Melbourne for one show only. Also playing alongside Chant Down residents Jesse I and Ras Crucial will be mashup king DJ Maars (UK), Afrodisiac’s DJ Nukc, and special guest MC Birok Huete. All styles of reggae and dancehall music until morning!

More Fire # 143 takes place on Saturday 19th January at Deep 11 (Mercat Cross Hotel basement, 456 Queen St, City). Doors open at 10pm, with a cover of $10 or $8 for concession holders, and PBS FM members.
