MORE FIRE 154

Date14/12/2013

Starts10:00 pm

Ends5:00 am

Big things a gwaan at More Fire in December as Chant Down play host to special guests Future Soundz (WA). Recent years have seen Future Soundz establish themselves as one of the most exciting dancehall reggae sound crews in Australia, with a comprehensive knowledge of Jamaican music both new and old, and a deep and dangerous dubplate selection. As well as holding down multiple residencies in Perth and Fremantle, Future Soundz are the only Australian sound to have played at Jamaica’s legendary “Fully Loaded” dance, where DJ Rasta proved himself to be a crowd favourite two years running. Joining Future Soundz will be Chant Down residents Jesse I and Ras Crucial, plus guest selectors Bumaye and Ali MC, and I Love Dancehall MC contest winner Slicker 1 peforming live.

More Fire # 154 takes place on Saturday 14th December at Deep 11 (Mercat Cross Hotel basement, 456 Queen St, City). Doors open at 10pm, with a cover of $10 or $8 for concession holders, and PBS FM members.
