It’s an international link-up at More Fire in June, as Chant Down play host to selector Phantom of Sweden’s Million Vibes Soundsystem. Operating since 2002, Million Vibes play the full spectrum on Jamaican music from ska and rocksteady through to new reggae and dancehall. They are also well known in Europe as a clash sound, and were the winners of the 2008 “Scandinavian Shootout” soundclash. More Fire residents Jesse I and Ras Crucial will be also be joined on the night by guest DJ Mr Fish, plus Apprentice (Yard House/Dark Spaid) performing live.

More Fire # 160 takes place on Saturday 14th June at Deep 11 (Mercat Cross Hotel basement, 456 Queen St, Melbourne). Doors open at 10pm, with a cover of $10 or $8 for concession holders, and PBS FM members.
