April 8 marks sixteen years of More Fire, the longest running reggae and dancehall night in Australia – representing all styles of Jamaican music since 2001. To celebrate, Chant Down will be blazing it up for another bigger-than-big birthday bashment… the party vibes tun up!! As well as residents Jesse I and Ras Crucial, get ready for musical madness from the extended family – selectors Sista Itations, Troublemekka, DJ Agent 86, Rebel Bass, and Solomon – plus original guest vocalists Quashani Bahd and SK Simeon. Celebrating sixteen years of pure reggae and dancehall in one inity – more fire!!

More Fire 16th Birthday Bashment takes place on Saturday 8th April at New Guernica (322 Little Collins St, Melbourne). Doors open at 10pm, with a cover of $12 or $10 for concession holders and PBS members.
