MORE FIRE featuring FOUNDATION SOUND @ The Mercat

Date08/12/2012

Starts10:00 pm

Ends5:30 am

One of the most well-respected reggae dancehall sounds in Europe, the Netherlands’ Foundation Sound have been building a unique dub-box and honing their original style since 2000. As a juggling crew they’ve played alongside many of the biggest names in the business, while as a war sound they have more than held their own, winning the “Global Shoot Out”, “Skip Dem Out” and “Time 2 Shine” clashes in 2010, and the “War Inna East” soundclash in 2008. Fully loaded with an incredible dubplate collection, selector Ivoryman will be representing Foundation Sound at More Fire in December, playing alongside residents Jesse I and Ras Crucial (Chant Down Sound) with support from Sista Sara and Raquelina.

More Fire # 141 takes place on Saturday 8th December at Deep 11 (Mercat Cross Hotel basement, 456 Queen St, City). Doors open at 10pm, with a cover of $10 or $8 for concession holders, and PBS FM members.
