More Fire: Goodbye Deep 11!

Date14/01/2017

Starts10:00 pm

Ends7:00 am

This is it. The last More Fire dance at Deep 11 (aka The Mercat basement) where it all began way back in April 2001. With the impending redevelopment of the Vic market, The Mercat will soon be gone, so it’s time for us to say goodbye to the spirtual home of reggae music in Melbourne.

Residents Jesse I and Ras Crucial will be joined on the night by two selectors who have been a part of the night since the start – Andy Ites and Bellyas – plus Troublemekka, who has been part of the Chant Down family (literally) since 2003.

Expect nuff classics from the last decade and a half of More Fire dances, plus the usual fresh sounds and upful vibes that make this night what it is.

More Fire #191 – Goodbye Deep 11 – takes place on Saturday 14th January at The Mercat basement (456 Queen St, Melbourne). Doors open at 10pm, with a cover of $15.
