Ras Jahknow, Melbourne’s freshest Roots Reggae Band will be playing live, fronted by Roots Heavyweight Ras Jahknow, blaze a new soul and sound into Reggae. Passionate vocals in English, Portuguese, and Creole weave though the culturally diverse influences of multi-instrumentalist band members. From the African island nation of Cap verde,Guinea Conakry,Sri Lanka ,Tonga,Mauritius, Malaysia to Australia, the Band embodies the vision of unity, respect and peace, built on the foundation of irresistible Reggae rhythms.
Rasta Unity band will also perform live ,this is an Up and Coming original reggae band. With members born in Brazil and Australia. This diverse group of people now base themselves in Melbourne. and with a fare well gig to a trip to brazil couple of days after they are bond to nice up the vibe on the night.
