UK/Jamaican legend Tippa Iris returns to Sydney for one night only at The Lord Gladstone Hotel. Tippa is a legend and should not be missed.

Few artists have shaped the identity of UK reggae and dancehall as profoundly as Tippa Irie. Rising to prominence in the 1980s as a leading MC on the legendary Saxon Sound System, he became synonymous with the “fast-chatting” style—a rapid, rhythmic technique requiring exceptional lyrical skill and breath control. Raised in the UK’s vibrant sound system culture, Tippa honed his talent on his father’s Musical Messiah system before joining King Tubby’s Sound and then Saxon, where he helped define a distinctly British chapter in reggae history alongside artists like Maxi Priest and Smiley Culture. Tippa Irie is returning to Sydney for one night only at The Lord Gladstone in Chippendale, NSW. Event Details: – Venue: The Lord Gladstone, Chippendale, NSW – Supporting Acts: Dub Vader (Tuff Tone Sound System), More Judgment, JC Crooks, Amri, and Lu Faria
