// Hailing from New Zealand, KATCHAFIRE have crafted a universal vibe with their sound built on foundations of classic roots reggae, R’n’B, funk and modern dancehall fused with slinky pop, cool grooves and uplifting vibes.
With six successful albums, multiple awards, platinum sales, hit singles, and a massive fanbase selling out shows around the world, 2022 sees KATCHAFIRE celebrating 25 years of existence.
The all-Maori band bring their pure classic sound to music lovers worldwide delivering one of the most authentic Reggae shows around today with popularity and critical acclaim seeing them on line-ups with just about every reggae artist worldwide.
Katchafire will be celebrating the release of their forthcoming new single “Always With You”.
// Along for the ride will be fellow New Zealanders MASAYA with their mash of Indie/Groove/Soul/Roots who recently released their debut album “Chronicles Of Youth”.
// Australia’s roots, reggae, rock royalty ZENNITH are more than a band, they represent a strong cultural and musical legacy that defies limitation. As custodians of Buluwai Country – the rainforest people of Kuranda in Far North Queensland, ZENNITH are three generations deep in a musical dynasty.
The centrepiece of Zennith rests with the Brim family. Brothers ADEN BRIM: vocals, songwriter, guitar, drums ASTRO BRIM: vocals, guitar, songwriter, keys, drums and their father WILLIE BRIM: Songwriter, vocals, keys, guitar form the nucleus of the sound and direction. Not only do they bring a passion and love for music but also a very tight musicianship, which pours onto the stage with ease and humility. Their energy on stage and ability to connect with the crowd is unsurpassed and it’s little wonder ZENNITH are finding their place in the stars.
// NICKY BOMBA is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter and has been a blazing creative spark in Australian music for decades: drummer in the John Butler Trio on classic albums Sunrise Over Sea, April Uprising and Flesh & Blood; the driving force behind Melbourne Ska Orchestra, the giant brass collective that grew from a one-offgig in Melbourne to play stages from Bluesfest to Glastonbury and win ARIAs for best world music album in 2016 and 2019.
