Ends9:00 pm

Location13 Railway Street, Yandina, QLD 4561 Australia

Oooh this is going to be one smooth Roots Rock Reggae Sunday!

CAPTAIN DREAMBOAT – The soul/R&B/jazz-inspired group hail from one of Brisbane’s most musically vibrant locales, West End, with lead vocalist and songwriter Ofa Fanaika (pictured) having amassed a large local following over the past decade through her powerful solo shows and involvement with popular reggae/dub act Chocolate Strings.

The band’s sound harkens back to classic soul of the 60s and 70s, with an unabashed emphasis on love songs, sumptuous melodies, rich vocal stacks and tight rhythmic foundations. Band founder Fanaika has gone to the effort of assembling some of Brisbane (and Australia’s) best emerging jazz talents, who gel together to form a formidably tight force, able to achieve complex sonic concepts in the studio as well as ad lib impromptu creations on the live stage.

Taloola – is a newly formed three piece neo-soul, jazz fusion band from the sunshine coast of Australia.Fronted by singer, songwriter & guitarist Lily Taloola, the band also features bassistTobias Ryan and drummer and singer James Simon.

Together they are in the process of recording their first album to share their unique & adaptable sound with the world. Exploring & cross-pollinating elements of jazz, soul, R&B and much more. these musicians create a deep, easy listening, ambient experience which gets under your skin and into your head. Taloola Music

Sound Tribe – is an organic mix of rhythm and grooves born out of one long good jam!

The Shared Cafe will be open and serving delicious food, coffee and smoothies. Time: 3:00 – 9:00pm. $10 entry. No BYO today. Bar Available.
