Veteran MC and soundman Solo Banton is coming to Australia for the first time, playing on the Inner West Reggae Disco Machine and supported by FOREIGNDUB and full IWRDM crew at a byo inner west location, vibes will be massive!

$20 early bird tickets, $30 final release

After a long career in the reggae music business as a sound man and producer, Solo began as a recording artist through linking with Kris Kemist of REALITY SHOCK RECORDS. Immediately recognised for his vintage deejay style, lyrical ingenuity and irrepressible personality, Solo has impacted on bass music and culture far and wide.

He has 3 albums in partnership with Reality Shock Records. In 2010 ‘Walk Like Rasta’ dropped, 2012 ‘Higher Levels’ and 2019 saw his latest release ‘Old Raggamuffin’. With countless more releases, Solo has worked with the likes of Mungo’s Hi Fi, Jahtari, Dubkasm, Conscious Sounds, Necessary Mayhem, Roots Factory and many others, creating a series of musical anthems.
