Turn Up with Bunji Garlin New Album
Bunji Garlin is a champion of Soca, the indigenous music of his native land, Trinidad and the electronic dance music that is building a worldwide following.
Soca music is infectious, beginning each February at Trinidad & Tobago Carnival, the soca season snakes its way throughout the western hemisphere in the form of local celebrations and fetes.
Through the early 2000s, each year’s crop of Soca and carnival hits has made a broader impact, with radio hits, high profile remixes and guest appearances. Arguably, Bunji Garlin, with his unique blend of ragga soca and his inimitable vocal style, has led the charge.
Bunji is a major force on the Caribbean music scene with multiple crossover successes to his name including features with Major Lazer, Vybz Kartel, R. City, Kardinal Offishall and Assassin, Gyptian and Angela Hunte, Tarrus Riley, and longtime Soca counterpart Machel Montano.
Turn Up is a collection of carnival hits, dancefloor burners and future facing music from one of the Caribbean’s major voices.
