Boomerang Events, Juliana Tenucci & friends invite you to an intimate Brazilian Music Jam Session at Open Studio!

Get ready for an informal reunion of Melbourne Musicians getting toguether for a night of whatever they feel like it!

This project is not to be described but experienced and aims to unite, promote and share the love for the Brazilian Music with no “boarder restrictions” but rather a sence of a growing music community.

For the first set of the event the so loved Brazilian Singer Juliana Tenucci will be performing her solo (or maybe not solo) act that goes from Samba, Bossa Nova, Forro and Brazilian Popular Music to the classics of Bob Marley, Beatles and Elvis.

During the second set, Ju will be joined by other musicians and friends who will be bringing their own influences and inpirations to the night.

ABOUT JULIANA TENUCCI:
Juliana Tenucci owns a profound and influential voice with a swinging soul that reveals the best of the Brazilian influenced and World Music. After years of experience she brings to Australia the best of the Brazilian percussive rhythms such as Bossa Nova, Samba, MPB (Brazilian Jazz), Reggae, Jazz and Rock. Ju Tenucci has an eclectic repertoire with roots in the Brazilian swing of joy, sensuality and an indescribable talent of a singular artist.

Juliana Tenucci has always been surrounded by good musicians and music since she was born in São Paulo, Brazil. Passionate about music and arts she has a Bachelor of Performance and Arts and has been playing in festivals, weddings, parties, restaurants and hotels all along the Brazilian coast, which is where her inspiration comes from. She has also been a resident musician at the “Piratininga Piano Bar”, one of the most traditional and respected jazz clubs in São Paulo.
She recorded with José Neto, who played with Eric Clapton and Santana, and is currently the guitarist of Stevie Windwood. Also studied music with “The Master” Luizão Cavalcante, who played with Wilson Simonal, Ivan Lins, Djavan and many others. With Suzana Salles, who performed with Tom Zé, Lenine, Itamar Assumpção… she developed her skills and techniques in the art of singing.
Now in Melbourne, Australia. Juliana takes part of many projects covering from Jazz, Samba, Bossa Nova, to regional styles such as Forro (Brazilian Folk) and World Music. She has been peforming on most events and venues related to her style of music such as: Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne Royal Hotel, Sarava Fest,, Melbourne Showgrounds, Melbourne Showboat, Reggae Cruise, Copacabana, Vamos and Portuguese Festival just to mention a few.
