Koffee and Govana creates a RAPTURE !

Koffee has teamed up with fellow Jamaican artist Govana for the official remix to the title track for her EP “Rapture.”

Rapture

Jamaica’s hottest export Koffee releases the remix to her debut EP title track – ‘Rapture’, featuring fellow Spanish Town resident and rising dancehall star GOVANA.

Live across all DSP’s, via Columbia Records UK, the song premiered as a worldwide record on Beats1, just as Apple Music announced 19 year old Koffee as its latest Up Next artist for the month of June. The accompanying video co-directed by 300K and RD STUDIOS and shot entirely on location in Jamaica.

Koffee – born Mikayla Simpson first blazed into the spotlight after she wrote a tribute to Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt on Instagram in 2017 (which Bolt himself shared). Since then, her meteoric journey has seen her take the world by storm with the release of her debut EP earlier this year to worldwide critical acclaim. Rapture also hit the number 1 spot in the US Billboard Reggae Chart and to date is fast approaching 100 million global streams

Championed by media and fans alike – Koffee, who was given her name because of her love for the hot beverage, brings a breath of fresh air to the genre, serving as a young ambassador of Jamaican culture to the rest of the world.
