Rasta Unity with Lutan Fyah delivers Youth Rize Up !

Following the release of an EP (Global Warning) and two singles (Freedom and Salvation & Sweet Love), Rasta Unity travelled to Jamaica to record their first full album (Youth Rize Up) at Tuff Gong Studios. Their latest single, Youth Rize Up, features Lutan Fyah and is the title track off the upcoming album. The song also features Reggae legends Bubbler! (Keys – Black Uhuru), Wayne Armond (Guitar – Chalice) and C Sharp (Drums – Steel Pulse).

Rasta Unity has established itself as an iconic roots reggae band, with members from all over the world. Their music is influenced by the roots era of reggae from Jamaica that took place during the 70s and 80s. Rasta Unity combines a real roots sound with their original style.

Rasta Unity will release an official video clip for Youth Rize Up on 9 February, with an official digital release through Tuff Gong International on 8 March.

The official video is a result of a collaboration between two filmmakers, Lone Wolf Filmz (Jamaica) and Fxgraphic (Brazil), with filming taking place in both Jamaica and Australia.

“The video clip shows how youth all over the world have the same needs – they all deserve love, opportunities and a safe and clean environment to grow up in. The youth are the leaders of tomorrow. They live by example, so we need to watch our actions. Watching our own youth grow is a blessing” explains Sistah Candice.
