The Jammin Festival organisers have said “Reggae music is in our roots. Aotearoa has lived and breathed reggae culture from garage parties to major events. We know there’s a massive number of Kiwis, Māori and Polynesians who reside in Australia, and they’re going to feel at home at this festival. In the words of Bob Marley, reggae ‘has a feel’ and Jammin Festival is going to be a party for anyone who feels the vibe because although the music is reggae, the feeling is universal,”

Jammin Festival 2023 is the first of what is hoped to be continued as a yearly event, bringing some of the world’s biggest names in reggae music to Australian shores every summer.
